(CTFL) v4.0
The ISTQB® Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) credential serves as the foundation for essential testing knowledge applicable to real-world situations. Certification prerequisites
While there are no official prerequisites for the certification, it is advisable to attend a training program provided by an ISTQB® accredited training provider before attempting the exam. To earn the ISTQB® Certified Tester designation, one must successfully pass the Foundation Level exam.

Certification prerequisites
There are no formal prerequisites for certification. Nevertheless, we recommend participation in a training program offered by an ISTQB® accredited training provider prior to taking the exam. In order to acquire the title of ISTQB® Certified Tester you have to pass the Foundation Level exam.

ISTQB® Certified Tester Foundation Level Agile Tester
(CTFL-AT)
Providing the key skills necessary in testing in order to successfully contribute to an Agile project. Covering Agile testing in alignment with the principles of agile software development as outlined in the Agile Manifesto. An Agile tester will effectively work differently than one working on a traditional project. It is important for testers to understand the values and principles that underpin Agile projects and how they are an integral part of a whole-team approach when working with developers and business representatives.
Adapt existing test experiences
Collaborate in a cross functional Agile team by being familiar with the basic practices and principles of Agile software development. Adapt existing testing experiences with knowledge about Agile values and principles. Assist and support the Agile team in planning and executing test activities. ISTQB® Certified Tester Security Tester
(CT-SEC)
Focusing on planning, performing and evaluating security tests from multiple perspectives which include risk, requirements, vulnerability and human factors. Covering security testing tools and standards and ensuring the ability to plan, perform and evaluate security tests from a variety of perspectives.
Identify security threats
Evaluate the existing security suite and identify any additional security tests and analyse a given set of security policies and procedures, along with security test results to determine its effectiveness. Demonstrate an attacker mentality by discovering key information about a target, performing actions on a test application in a protected environment that a malicious person could possibly perform and understand how the evidence of an attacker can be deleted.
Certification prerequisites
To receive this certification, candidates must hold the Foundation Certificate and have sufficient practical experience.
ISTQB® Certified Tester Security Tester ~ Exam Details
